# Condition Monitoring

## Overview

The Condition Monitoring module enables teams to proactively monitor production conditions by configuring alerts for critical operational events and process parameters.

Rather than relying on manual observation or post-production analysis, Condition Monitoring continuously evaluates configured conditions and notifies relevant personnel whenever predefined thresholds or events occur.

By providing timely notifications and historical alert insights, the module helps teams detect abnormalities early, reduce response times, and minimize the operational impact of equipment failures, process deviations, and quality issues.

## Why use Condition Monitoring?

Manufacturing issues often begin as small deviations before developing into larger production problems.

Unexpected increases in temperature, abnormal cycle times, excessive downtime, or declining process performance may not immediately affect production output but can quickly escalate if left unnoticed.

Condition Monitoring helps answer questions such as:

* Which operational conditions require immediate attention?
* Which assets are generating the most alerts?
* Are alert occurrences increasing over time?

The dashboard includes insights such as:

* Parameters generating the highest number of alerts
* Assets and cells which trigger the most alerts

### Creating Alerts
